|Gaurav Shah||Gaurav Shah- is a researcher in the field of Media and Religion. He has earned a Ph.D. in Mass Communication from Banaras Hindu University and has done his Masters in Mass Communication with specialization in Media Management. He has also done an advanced course in Peace Studies from University of Oslo, Norway. Gaurav holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Conflict Management and Development from Banaras Hindu University (BHU). His papers related to media and peace has already been published in peer reviewed international journal „Peace Works‟. He has also published a paper titled “New Media: Issues of Women Empowerment” in e-PG Pathsala- a project by UGC. Gaurav can be contacted at email@example.com.|

Rohan Kumar is a Ph.D candidate at Malaviya Centre for Peace Research, Faculty of Social Sciences, Banaras Hindu University. He has done M.A in ‘Conflict Management and Development Studies’ from the same Centre and M.Phil from same faculty. Under academic exchange program, Rohan spent one Semester at Karlstad University, Sweden and received Linnaeus-Palme scholarship. At Karlstad University, Rohan studied ‘Intercultural Communications’ and ‘Swedish Welfare State Model’. He has attended several International and National Seminars, and has actively participated in several field studies in consultation with ORF and IDSA. He has done his Graduation from Faculty of Social Sciences and PGDM from Faculty of Management Studies at the Banaras Hindu University. He holds ‘First Division’ throughout his career. Rohan had part of his schooling at a prominent Boarding School in Kozhikode, Kerala. He was the zonal topper of Political Science in the CBSE Senior Secondary Exam. For the last one year, he has been a visiting Faculty at the Alliance Institute for Global Education, an exchange program of Arcadia University and Butler University, USA. His Research topic is ‘Energy Security: Study of International Collaborations’. He is an active bloggler and writes mainly on social and political issues.
Amrita Singh is pursuing PhD at Malaviya Center for Peace Research. Before joining the center she worked with a leading Hindi daily Dainik Bhaskar as Sub Editor, she was also guest faculty in University of Allahabad in Journalism & Mass Communication Department.
She pursued her Graduation from University of Allahabad, P.G. diploma in Hindi Journalism From Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi. She pursued her post Graduation fron Kurukeshetra University, Kurukeshetra, Haryana.
She is an executive member of a theater group Wings Cultural Society, New Delhi. Got prize from Governor of Madhya Pradesh in National level debate competition in 2005. She has keen interest in creative writing her articles and poems have published in different Magazines and News Papers
Jyotsna Srivastava is pursuing her Ph.D form Malaviya Center for Peace Research. She holds Master degree in "Conflict Management and Development". She is Gold Medalist in her Master degree. She attended Summer Course at McGill University, Montreal, Canada, worked on "Religion and Foreign Policy". She has worked as Research Assistant with a Full Bright Professor from USA, on the issue of Casteism and Conflict. She has earned wide field exposure in area of Social Disruption, Casteism and Urbanization while working on her Master dissertation. She has keen interest in empirical study. Her research interest area include issues of Refugees and Migrants, Religion and Politics, Multiculturalism and Women centric issues.
|Sachin Kumar Singh||
Sachin Kumar Singh is pursuing his
Ph D. from Malaviya Center for Peace Research. His research area
includes environmentally induced migration, climate change, climate
refugees and human security. He possessed his M. Phil degree in
Subaltern Studies and his master degree in Political Science from
Banaras Hindu University. He completed his M. Phil dissertation on "Bhartiya
Loktantra evam Muslim Alpasankhyak Ek Samavesi Dristikon."
Abhishek Narangwal has joined as a Ph.D. scholar in MCPR in June 2016. The topic of his research is “Peace Economics Approach to Food Security- Case of Darbhanga”.
His academic interests are in Peace Economics, Environmental Economics, Philosophy of Sciences and Political Economy.
Before joining MCPR, he was Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics, Indian Academy Centre for Research and PG Studies, Bangalore University (2014-15) for one year and Ad-hoc faculty in Sir Parashurambhau College, University of Pune (2013), for a semester. He has also worked as Research Assistant in the Centre for Social Concern, Hyderabad for a year 2010-11.
He is Masters in Economics (2007-09) from University of Hyderabad with UGC-NET in Economics (2012). He is graduate in Economics (2004-07) from University of Delhi.
